Introducing Fisher

After nearly twenty-four hours of labor, a few serious health scares, and an eventual C-section, Sophia and Joey Talbott (and big brother, Peyton) welcomed Fisher Taylor Talbott to the world
and into their family. I was honored to photograph him on his eighth day of life. Not only does
he have the most perfect skin and beautiful blue eyes, but he also has the sweetest little smile! Have I mentioned that I LOVE BABIES!?! Thank you for allowing me to document this very special time in your lives.

Girl Power at Mane Top Stables

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing Mane Top Stables IEA Team in Lynchburg, Virginia. Mane Top is a lesson, boarding, training, sale and show barn that produces confident, independent, responsible riders. The team competes in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association program, designed for 6th-12th grade students in public and private middle and secondary schools. Their mission is to introduce students to equestrian sports, while promoting and improving the quality of equestrian competition and instruction. The Mane Top Team is a hardworking, fun-loving, dedicated group of young women with a ton of personality and fantastic ability to each find their own light!

If you aren't familiar with Coach Rebecca Sturm-Clauser, you definitely should be! Filled with kindness, passion, enthusiasm, big dreams, and the ideas to make those dreams come true, Coach will stop at nothing to help you define and reach your goals. With a passion for helping others all her life, Coach Rebecca Sturm-Clauser stepped out of corporate America in 2008 to pursue her dream of becoming a speaker and a coach. Her unique course of study in psychology and business, coupled with her life experiences enable her to help clients take their businesses and lives to the next level of success. The sky is the limit with Rebecca, so when it came time to update her own marketing materials, she chose to incorporate a visual statement by being photographed at the highest point in Lynchburg - the rooftop of the Allied Arts Building!

The Value of an Updated Business Portrait

The new year has arrived and you're ready to make 2014 your most successful year yet. Does your marketing plan include updating your business portrait? If not, it should.

The saying goes, "People do business with people they know like, and trust." Building new relationships with prospective clients begins with their first impression of you. If their first point of contact with you is through an ad, brochure, website, e-mail, or various social media sites, you need to make a strong impression with the image you use as an introduction. It should convey that you are friendly, approachable, and you take your business seriously enough to market it professionally. Selfies captured on a cell phone or a quick snapshot of you in a poorly-lit room standing against a wall do not convey these characteristics.

If the picture currently marketing you portrays you with an outdated hairstyle, wardrobe, is nowhere near your current weight, or is more than two years old, it's time to update for an update. During the month of January, I am offering a business portrait session (which includes your favorite image) for only $75 ($150 value) for individuals and an additional discount per person when your office books an in-office session.

Book your appointment today and discover how adding an updated portrait to your marketing arsenal has a positive impact on your bottom line in 2014!
